BOS @ NYY - April 14, 2008

7:05pm @ Yankees stadium, Bronx
Buchhols v.s. Wang
It was my first experience of the big match.
Unfortunately, Red Sox fans didn't go home with winning

Yankees 15, Red Sox 9

This afternoon, around 2:00pm, I saw someone selling the tickets for tonight's game in PTT
(Brovo! PTT)
3:00pm, I made sure of having the company to enjoy the game with me.
(Thank you, Chi)
After that, e-mailed and called about the tickets information
(It was kinda complicated lol...)
Meanwhile, I was worried about what I should wear. Should I show my Red Sox spirit? In the crazy Yankees stadium? Well...
Besides pushing Chi to get off office earlier, I was still taking care of tickets things...
5:00pm, departed from Parsippany!
6:30pm, got our tickets at New York Penn Station
(We were late actually, but everything ran well!)

My ticket!!

7:00pm, arrived at 161st station with hungriness
It took forever to get through the security gate...
Finally, we got some expensive food and our seats. It's almost 800pm!

My seat!

We just missed the first inning and few homers, but that's alright.
I'm alway happy being a part of the game.

We were so high! You know what I mean.

Two bullpens. And the final countdown for this Yankees stadium in regular season. There were 73 games left.

The new stadium will be open in 2009 season.
Ortiz's jersey was just dug out from it few days ago.
(A constructor who is a Red Sox fan put this jersey into the building to curse our enemy. But I think this earthed number 34 jersey did curse Big Papi(Ortiz) in the beginning of this season.)

The pitchers in both teams didn't do very well, so there were lots of scores.
That also meant that it took a long time too finish the game.
After 10pm, we decided to leave right after "Take me out to the ball game."

It's a tradition to sing this song in the middle of 7th inning, called 7th inning stretch.
In New York, they also sing "God Bless America" for victims of 911 and the soldiers outside the country after 911 tragedy.

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out on to the crowds;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks,
I don't care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win, it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.

Next time, if you have a chance being in a ball game, don't forget this song.
